How do your Pet Photo Sessions Work?

I photograph pets using  studio lighting in my Manhattan Beach CA studio.  My images are very stylistic:  I use monochromatic colors with  simple, sophisticated embellishments to create a whimsical portrayal of your pet and his/her personality.

The first step is to take a look at the three different pet photo sessions I offer and choose one: the Classic, Holiday, or the Just For Fun.  To read a description of each session and view examples of each, please visit the The Photo Session Page.  It is important for you to view the sample images and choose what kind of portrait you are interested in getting of your pet. All sessions are in-studio. Each photo session is unique and different, just like each pet.  My goal is to connect with your pet and capture their spirit and that look you know and love so that you will have a cherished memory to keep forever. 

How do I schedule a session?
Please fill out a contact form, specify what session and products you are interested in, and I will follow up with an email to schedule a pre-consultation phone call. 

What does your session fee cover?

I take great pride in my work, and treat every photo session as  a creative endeavor. I will produce an impressive work of art of your pet that you will be proud to hang as wall décor and share with friends in a gallery  in your home or office. The session fee covers the pre-consultation in which we discuss the session and “look” you are interested in, the photo shoot with professional lighting,  and an online gallery presentation of your proofs (post processing/retouching included).

What kind of print products do you offer and how much do they cost?
I offer a variety of print products, including individual prints with a print package, digital files, canvas wraps, gallery blocks, metal prints, greeting cards, note cards, albums, and a variety of personal creations.  I also offer custom matting and framing. Please contact me for a complete product and price list after you have chosen the photo session that you are interested in. 

What is your cancellation policy?

*All Photo sessions must be prepaid by credit card when scheduled to hold appointment date. Kelly requires a 24 hour cancellation period for a full refund, otherwise client will be charged a $50 cancellation fee, no exceptions.  Please understand, digital Images and Prints are purchased separately, after the session and are not included in the photo session fee.

How do I view my proofs?
Approximately 2 weeks after the photo session, I will send you a link to your own private gallery where you can view your proofs on-line. All proofs are professionally processed and retouched. 

Do you photograph Headshots, Weddings,  High School Seniors or do Family Portraits?
